So … it’s late on Saturday night. I’ve had my friend Judah drive me down to our home at Morningside. It’s been hot all day and I’ve been thinking.
Thursday and Friday nights I saw a high school production of the famous Book of Matthew musical, "Godspell."
It was hypnotically great. Lively and magnetic from start to finish. Singing and dancing and preaching. It could not have been betterI came to it because my dearest friend, Phil DeMuth, has an 11th grader daughter, Olivia, who has the key production number. I think it’s called "Bless O Lord My Soul." She’s electrifying. She’s high end professional good.
Everyone in the cast is great but Olivia — to my mind — has star all over her sweet face.
That was yesterday and the day before.
Now it’s late and I’m flipping through the channels. I’m caught — as the world is — among three channels.
One is Justice with Jeanine Pirro on Fox News Channel (FNC). She’s hot as a pistol tonight. She has Rudy Giuliani and Victoria Toensing — two towering lawyers.
They’re talking about a federal district court judge in Virginia who has just dropped a bomb right down Mueller’s smokestack and it’s blowing him up.
The bomb is the judge, T.S. Ellis, asking a Mueller lawyer what the heck the Manafort prosecution has to do with the alleged Russia/Trump collusion that started the whole Gestapo chase. The judge asked what Mueller’s authority was for the Manafort case. Incredibly, the Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney said he was not allowed to say. It was a secret.
Judge Ellis exploded, so writes Ben Stein in The American Spectator. To read more, Click Here.
