If the United States agrees to soften its demands on Iran's nuclear program, any deal must be abundantly clear, says Middle East expert Dr. Robert Rabil.
"If we're going to make a deal with them it has to be transparent," Rabil, professor at Florida Atlantic University, told Ed Berliner on "MidPoint" on
Newsmax TV Friday.

"We have to make sure that the objective of the deal whereby Iran cannot have the possibility to make a nuclear weapon is very much enforced," he explained.
"Let's see what they can offer and let's make a deal based on what we have at hand," he said.
The Middle East exert explained that "what's the most important" for any such deal to occur are two things: "mainly the number of centrifuges they have to be reduced so that they don't have the capability to produce the material for nuclear weapons."
"Second, the duration of inspection, we have a good inspection regime and if they come forward to reduce the number of centrifuges to a minimum, then we believe them," Rabil added.
