The Robb Report's special section on the "Best of the Best" for 2013 declares that Donald Trump's new golf course in Scotland is the No. 1 course in the world.
Before Trump International Golf Links outside Aberdeen was inaugurated last July, the billionaire mogul proclaimed that it would be the greatest golf course in the world.
The course doesn't disappoint, according to the June issue of the Robb Report, a luxury-lifestyle magazine for affluent connoisseurs, which calls it "a masterpiece amid the millennia-old sand dunes in northeastern Scotland."
"Right from the superb par-5 opening hole, golfers are thrust into the site's imposing dunescape — and it never lets up. Some holes are more memorable than others, but every one of the 18 is worthy of the world's finest courses."
The course cost more than $155 million to build. And Trump's future plans for the nearly 2,000-acre site include a hotel and another 18-hole golf course.
