Zimbabwe dictator Robert Mugabe is said to be in a hospital in Singapore fighting for his life with an undisclosed illness, according to Australia's Herald Sun.
Reports from the region indicate he had agreed to hand over power to his Defense Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The Zimbabwe Mail, quoting a senior official of Mugabe's ZANU-PF party, said the President was undergoing treatment in Singapore. They described the treatment as "intense" and that his family was with him. The cabinet today postponed a meeting, which raised questions about Mugabe's health.
Mugabe had been in Singapore since last week when he collapsed at home. His government has said the dictator was in Singapore to oversee his daughter Bona's entrance into college there.
A June 2008 US diplomatic cable released by WikiLeaks claimed that Mugabe has prostate cancer that had spread to other organs.
