LIGNET: Former CIA Chief Says 'Red Line' on Syria Was a Mistake

In an exclusive interview with LIGNET, former CIA Director Michael Hayden blames the United States government for drawing a “red line” with Syria at chemical weapons use and threatening force. Now that it’s been shown that Syria did use chemical weapons on its rebels, albeit in a limited way, the administration doesn’t have a lot of options. “We have a really tough problem on our hands,” he says.
