DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The United Arab Emirates' military says six of its troops have been killed in a "collision," without elaborating or offering a location for the incident.
The state-run WAM news agency quoted the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces for the announcement on Friday.
It identified the six killed, who included a captain.
WAM's report said that commanders had extended their "condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs."
It wasn't clear what the circumstance of the "collision" was, nor where it took place.
The UAE has been fighting in Yemen against that country's Houthi rebels as part of a Saudi-led coalition.
