The first Donald Trump administration imposed sanctions on Russia more than 50 times, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday when asked whether Moscow was pinning hopes on the return of the U.S. president-elect.

Peskov said Russia should not forget about the unfriendly actions of the United States, but instead wait to see what concrete positive steps there are once Trump takes office.
