In a continuing effort to celebrate the LGBTQ community, Disneyland Paris is officially organizing "Magical Pride" on June 1 to kick off Pride Month, as CBS News reported.
"Dress like a dream, feel fabulous, and experience Walt Disney Studios Park like never before – loud, proud, and alive with all the colours of the rainbow," Disneyland Paris' website reads.
LGBTQ outreach has become increasingly important for Disney, which introduced rainbow Mickey Mouse ears before last year's Pride Month. In 2007, before gay marriage was legal in some places, Cinderalla's castle opened for same-sex weddings.
Also, the movie "Frozen" has been considered a metaphor for the gay community, with a rising push to hashtag #GiveElsaAGirlfriend before the release of Frozen 2 in November 2019.
As for the pride celebration, there have been unofficial events taking place in Disneyland Paris since 2014, according to the report.
