The U.K. stepped up its border security and increased anti-terrorism cooperation with France after the deadly attack in Paris on the offices of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
There will be more searches of vehicles and freight and more security personnel deployed at ports of entry from France, Prime Minister David Cameron’s spokeswoman, Helen Bower, told reporters in London today after a meeting of the U.K. government’s Cobra emergency committee.
