Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Top 200,000 Worldwide: Johns Hopkins University

Confirmed cases of the new coronavirus topped 200,000 worldwide by Wednesday, according to a Johns Hopkins University tally.

Deaths exceed 8,000, while the number of people who have recovered is over 82,000, the tally shows.
