MOSCOW (AP) — An unmanned Russian cargo ship has launched on a journey to the International Space Station.

The Progress M-29M spacecraft blasted off from Russia's space launch complex in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, on Thursday night and is to dock with the space station at about 2 a.m. Moscow time (2300 GMT).

Russian Mission Control and NASA said the Progress entered orbit and deployed its solar power arrays flawlessly.

A Progress launch in April ended in failure and a U.S. supply mission failed in June when the SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket broke apart shortly after takeoff.
