LONDON (AP) — Prince Harry has honored Britons killed in attacks in Tunisia, sharing in the grief of survivors and loved ones during a solemn ceremony at Westminster Abbey.

The service Tuesday included the lighting of 31 candles, one for each person who died in the Tunisian resort town of Sousse and at the Bardo Museum last year. The Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the slayings.

Harry placed a wreath of white and yellow flowers at the Innocent Victims Memorial. The circular stone and slate memorial is devoted to victims of war, violence and oppression across the world.

Survivors Richard Paciukanis, 60, and his wife, Bernadette, said they found the lighting of the candles "moving."
