HELSINKI (AP) — A gunman has shot and killed one person near the Finnish capital's railway station. Finland's news agency reports.

STT reported that one person was hit in the incident in central Helsinki on Monday, and that the gunman has been apprehended by police.

STT said that bystanders were not in any danger.

Police could not be immediately reached for confirmation and no other information was available.
