Pastor Paula White on Wednesday expressed gratitude and admiration for the life of Rev. Billy Graham, who died Wednesday at 99.
"It's not only the power of his preaching, the humility of his character, or the innovation of his approach, it's that no one has touched more lives and changed the world more profoundly in the last century than he," said White, the senior pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka, Florida and President Donald Trump's spiritual adviser.
"Billy Graham leaves us all with an enormous mantle to assume, to be peacemakers, bridge builders and unifiers in our world, through the power of Jesus Christ," she said in a statement.
Graham, who suffered from cancer, pneumonia and other ailments, transformed American religious life through his preaching and activism. He was a counselor to presidents and the most widely heard Christian evangelist in history.
