New Jersey's five Roman Catholic dioceses have released the names of more than 180 priests they say have been credibly accused of sexually abusing minors.
The names were released Wednesday by the dioceses of Camden, Trenton, Metuchen and Paterson and the archdiocese of Newark.
Many priests on the lists are deceased, and others have been removed from ministry.
The dioceses didn't list the numbers or types of allegations against the priests.
New Jersey is one of more than two dozen states where dioceses have released the names of abusive clergy members since a Pennsylvania grand jury report in August identified over 300 predator priests.
