Newsmax Twitter Watch: Digesting Debate Tweets

Following the third and final presidential debate, Twitter is a mix of comments that are still digesting Monday night’s contest and those that are looking ahead to the next couple of weeks of the pre-election sprint.

The final debate registered fewer tweets, according to this tweet by CBS News White House correspondent Mark Knoller:
“The folks at @Twitter report 6.5-million tweets during debate; down from 7.2-million at 2nd debate and 10.3-million during 1st debate.” - (@markknoller)


Looking forward on Tuesday morning is Sam Stein, political editor and White House Correspondent at Huffington Post, who tweeted about the Super PAC backing Mitt Romney:

The debate and arguments over some of the statements by the candidates will be part of the news cycle for the next few days. And the word “bayonets” will be part of that.
