A Latham, New York store selling Trump-branded merchandise, including apparel and gifts, was broken into early in the morning on Monday sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. by unidentified thieves, Newsweek reports.
The Colonie Police Department responded to a call about a break-in at the store, which is located at 860 New Loudon Road, and found that someone, possibly multiple people, had forced the back door open and stolen cash from the register. The thief or thieves also damaged lights and other objects.
The store is a part of a chain called New England for Trump, which has more than a dozen locations, and notes on its website that it “is not affiliated with, authorized by, or sponsored by Donald J. Trump for President, Inc., which is the principal campaign committee of President Donald J. Trump,” and “the products sold at the NEFT Stores are not licensed, endorsed, or otherwise authorized or approved by President Trump, his Campaign, or by any of its affiliates.”
