President Donald Trump praised the "brave parishioners" who stopped a shooter in a Texas church seconds after opening fire.
Trump tweeted Monday evening:
"Our prayers are with the families of the victims and the congregation of yesterday's church attack. It was over in 6 seconds thanks to the brave parishioners who acted to protect 242 fellow worshippers. Lives were saved by these heroes, and Texas laws allowing them to carry arms!"
On Sunday, a man stood up during a service at the West Freeway Church near Fort Worth Texas, and started shooting. He killed two people before he was shot dead by armed parishioners who were volunteering as security guards.
The entire incident was over in six seconds.
