President Donald Trump, campaigning in Maine amid a frantic campaign schedule in an attempt to win a second term, signed a pumpkin at an event on Sunday and remarked that “it'll be on eBay tonight,” The Hill reported.

The president was meeting with hundreds of his backers at the Treworgy Family Orchard in Levant after he had staged a rally earlier in the day in  Londonderry, New Hampshire with just over a week to go until Election Day.

At the orchard, Trump said, “I’m very impressed, and I’m very impressed with Maine, and I hope we’re going to do well,” adding that he planned to bring a bag of apples back to the White House.

The president’s supporters at the orchard, chanted “USA” and “four more years” as Trump also signed hats at the event.

In a crucial Senate race for the Republicans to retain control of the upper chamber, Maine GOP Sen. Susan Collins is facing a tough challenge from Democrat Sara Gideon.

According to RealClearPolitics, the Democratic contender is leading by an average of 4.2 percentage points.
