The gigantic balloon that flew over the United Kingdom depicting President Donald Trump as an angry, diaper-wearing baby is headed to Bedminster, New Jersey, where it will be floated near the Trump National Golf Club.
Anti-Trump activists in the Garden State are importing the 20-foot-tall blimp, sensationally flown in London and Scotland last week to protest Trump's visit to the United Kingdom, Didier Jimenez, who helped spearhead the effort with a GoFundMe campaign, told NJ Advance Media on Sunday.
The visit of the orange-colored "baby," expected in August, is the result of a successful GoFundMe campaign, co-created by Jimenez and People's Motorcade, an activist group which holds protests at Trump's golfing mecca.
"We need to get under [Trump's] skin as much as we can," Jimenez said on GoFundMe.
The campaign, which set a goal of $4,500, has earned more than $8,000 in two days.
On its Facebook page, The People's Motorcade announced plans for an Aug. 12th protest of vehicles that will drive by the golf course as part of a "summer of resistance."
