A teenager dining with friends at a Texas burger joint was attacked by a stranger for wearing one of President Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" baseball caps.

Hunter Richard, 16, was sitting with pals in a Whataburger restaurant in San Antonio when an angry man approached and ripped the red MAGA hat off Richard's head, pulling some of his hair along with it, and then threw a drink in his face.

The attacker launched into a profane and racist rant and then walked away, waving the stolen hat in the air.

"This is going to go great in my [expletive] fireplace, [expletive]," the man is heard saying at the end of the video

"All right, have fun with it," one of the shaken teens at the table responds.

The disturbing assault, which occurred Tuesday night, was recorded on video and has gone viral on the internet.

"I support my President and if you don't let's have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off," Richard later told WOAI-TV, which posted the video.

"I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me."

A suspect reportedly has been arrested.

Whataburger said in a statement: "We were shocked to see this video and certainly don't condone this type of customer behavior in our restaurants. To be clear, no Whataburger employees were involved or witnessed the incident …"
