A high school English teacher in Fort Worth, Texas was fired after asking President Donald Trump to deport undocumented students, CNN is reporting.

Georgia Clark’s request came in a series of tweets posted on May 17, according to the news network.

“(Fort Worth Independent School District) is loaded with illegal students from Mexico,” she wrote in a tweet to the president, according to CNN.

And she reportedly added: "I really do need a contact here in FW who should be actively investigating & removing illegals that are in the public school system."

CBS News said her Twitter account has since been deleted.

The school district announced Wednesday that members voted 8-0 to terminate Clark’s contract, according to the network news.

"Let me reiterate our commitment that every child in the District is welcome and is to be treated with dignity and respect," School Superintendent Kent Scribner said in a message to parents.

CNN said as the school district investigated the tweets, a memo surfaced from some students claiming that she had made racist statements in class on the day she had posted her tweets. When a student asked to use the bathroom, she allegedly said: “Show me your papers that are saying you are legal.”

Clark responded to the claims in the memo by saying she never made any statement regarding anyone’s immigration status, the news network said.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported Clark worked as a teacher at Carter-Riverside High School.
