Two of America's warm-weather destinations are also at the top of the list for worst sleeping habits, according to a study.
The data released by the alarm clock app Sleep Cycle determined the top five worst places for sleep are Hawaii — at No .1 — followed by Florida, Maine, Alaska, and Arizona, Florida Today reported.
Americans got the best sleep in Colorado — at No. 1 — followed by Wyoming, Vermont, Montana, and North Dakota, the study determined, Florida Today reported.
Denver was the No. 1 city for sleep — and Miami and Orlando were the top two worst cities for sleep quality, the study found.
The study also found the United States is getting closer to averaging the recommended 8 hours of sleep a night, averaging 7 hours and 19 minutes per night with bedtime around 11:40 p.m. ET and wake-up at 7:08 a.m. ET, Florida Today reported.
