MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough looked directly into the camera on Tuesday and told President Donald Trump to stop watching his show, because it was making him "act crazy."
The ongoing feud between Trump and "Morning Joe" was set off this time as the show's co-host Mika Brzezinski read a tweet the president had just sent out that acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe was biased because of his connections to Hillary Clinton.
Scarborough laughed as Brzezinski read the tweet, and in an exasperated tone said that not so long ago, Trump considered McCabe as a potential finalist to be the FBI director to replace the fired James Comey.
Becoming increasingly agitated, Scarborough reiterated that "McCabe was on his finalist list as an FBI director, and now [Trump's] going back to complaints he had in September or October of last year. I want people to be observing and taking notes today and not act like this is just any other day."
Making sure of the exact date, Scarborough said to "circle it on your calendar. This guy is spinning wildly out of control."
Scarborough then removed his glasses and leaned forward to get closer to the camera, as if he was speaking to Trump directly.
"I know you never watch this show, Donald, but whatever show you're watching is making you crazy. Not Crazy. I don't think you're crazy. But it's making you act crazy. So you really need to turn to SportsCenter and you need to stop watching because these tweets make you look really bad."
