Anthony "The Mooch" Scaramucci — fired after 10 days as White House communications director — has profanely accused former chief of staff Reince Priebus of sabotaging his career and given him a crude scatological nickname.
Scaramucci, in an explosive interview published Friday in Vanity Fair, refers to Priebus as "Rancid Penis" and says that after promising to "do everything I can to help you," Priebus stabbed him in the back.
"That's what they do to you, they say, 'golly gee' to your face and they act like Richie Cunningham to your face. They're Richie Cunningham and they're Opie from 'The Andy Griffith Show,' but they're the [expletive] Sith Lord behind your back. They're hitting you with a lightsaber behind your back," he says.
According to Scaramucci, Priebus was "very jealous" of his "close relationship" to President Donald Trump.
Scaramucci also says President Trump's pledge to "drain the swamp" of Washington is unworkable.
"I learned that the swamp is probably a gold-plated cesspool with no drain. You understand what I'm saying? You can't drain the [expletive] thing," he tells Vanity Fair's William Cohan.
