Political consultant heavyweights James Carville, Paul Begala, and Karl Rove, have been slated for induction into the American Association of Political Consultant’s Hall of Fame, “the highest honor that working members of the profession can bestow upon a colleague,” according to a recent release put out by the organization.
“These three individuals have each made an indelible mark on our nation’s — and the world’s — political landscape and we’re proud to honor them for their exemplary careers,” Dale Emmons, the group’s president said.
“The Hall of Fame awards are an opportunity for us as an industry to celebrate the very best in our field. This year is no exception. James, Paul, and Karl are all defining figures in the world of politics and public affairs and we are proud to celebrate their contributions and achievements.”
The three deft consultants from both sides of the political spectrum will be inducted during the organization’s annual Pollie Awards and Conference in Austin, Texas, from March 28 to 30.
Carville and Begala are best recognized for their service as advisers to Bill Clinton, while Rove was thrust into the public eye for his work for George W. Bush.
