Christie Back in Romney Family’s Good Graces

By    |   Thursday, 14 February 2013 03:26 PM EST

Two of Mitt Romney’s sons attended a fundraiser for New Jersey GOP Gov. Chris Christie in California this week, a source told Politico.

This would appear to signal that whatever ill will the Romney family held toward Christie during the presidential campaign is a thing of the past. Christie irked many in the Romney camp when he lavished praise on President Barack Obama after Superstorm Sandy hit his state in late October. The two toured the damage together.

The fundraising event took place Tuesday night at the home of a businessman in La Jolla, where the Romney family has a mansion. The source said Christie had “very good conversations with both” Matt and Craig Romney.

Scott Baugh, a local Republican county chair who was a member of Romney’s finance committee, organized the event.
