Video Shows Girl Crying over Presidential Contest

Wednesday, 31 October 2012 07:28 PM EDT

The long presidential campaign has made at least one girl cry.

In a video released Wednesday that has gone viral across the Internet, a 4-year old girl named Abby Evans is seen frowning, tears rolling down her cheeks. Her mother, Elizabeth Evans, asks why she is crying.

Abby replies: "Because I'm tired of Bronco Obama and Mitt Romney."

Her mother then says the election will be over soon. "Yay," Abby says through her sobs.

Abby and her mother live in Fort. Collins, Colo., a closely fought battleground state where more than $83 million has been spent on campaign advertising. Elizabeth Evans told KUSA-TV, the local NBC station, that her daughter had begun crying in the car while listening to an NPR report on the election.
