NJ Aerial Ad to Beachgoers: Tell Christie to Get Off Beach

The banner comes in the wake of GOP Gov. Chris Christie's weekend visit to the state-owned Island Beach State Park, a site of one of the official governor's residences. He showed up after ordering all state parks and beaches closed due to a government shutdown over a funding dispute with the state legislature.

The beach visit drew widespread criticism, including from the state's GOP Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno.
