Tornados have terrorized several states in recent weeks. And Sarah Palin's bus tour almost was a victim Wednesday,
Politico reports.
On the way to Boston, the tour crossed a part of Interstate 90 that was struck by a tornado. Palin's bus passed through a torn up section of the Massachusetts turnpike less than an hour after the tornado touched down and possibly minutes before another, according to Twitter accounts from reporters for NBC News and The Times of London.
"So, just to be clear. A tornado ripped across the road in front of the #palinbustour -- we don't know how many minutes difference yet," Nico Hines, a Washington correspondent with the Times wrote on Twitter. He said the tour was just outside Worcester, Mass., when bus passengers saw a tornado cloud.
