A super PAC, aligned with Democrats, is launching a digital ad targeting President Donald Trump and his response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The nearly two-minute long spot was released by Win the West, which is focused on helping Joe Biden defeat Trump in November, according to The Hill.

The ad opens with the words: “Donald Trump thinks he knows more than America’s top doctors and scientists.”

It then shows clips of Trump talking about the coronavirus and labels them “alternative facts.”

The ad splits the screen between clips of Trump and Dr. Anthony Fauci, a member of the White House coronavirus task force, whose comments are labeled “facts.”

It ends with the words: “Facts matter. Alternative facts are dangerous.”

“The American people deserve nothing less than the truth and the facts from their president,” said Rep. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., a supporter of the super PAC.. “President Trump fails these basic tasks nearly every day. That’s why the stakes for our country and the 2020 election could not be higher.”

He added: “We need a president who tells the truth, believes in science, listens to public health experts, and who will always put the American people over himself. That candidate is Joe Biden.”
