Talk show host Stephen Colbert, who regularly skewers President Donald Trump on CBS' "The Late Show," is set to premiere his new cartoon series that'll lampoon the commander-in-chief.
Showtime will unveil the animated, half-hour "Our Cartoon President" from Colbert and "The Late Show" executive producer Chris Licht on Feb. 11, 2018 ahead of the season seven premiere of "Homeland," Deadline reported.
Deadline on Monday posted a trailer for the series, which was first announced in July.
According to Deadline, Showtime is also giving premier cable viewers an early preview of the 10-episode series on Jan. 28, 2018 — two days ahead of Trump's State of the Union address to the full Congress.
The series will parody the 45th president "and his merry band of advisers and family members," Showtime said in a news release, The Hill reported.
"The Cartoon President" follows "the tru-ish misadventures" of the 45th president and "examines the quintessentially Trumpian details of the presidency and his most important relationships, and no one is safe — from his close family and confidants to key political figures from both parties and members of the media," according to the release.
Colbert, who formerly worked on "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," found ratings gold for CBS after he began delivering pointed jabs at Trump.
