Omarosa Manigault-Newman — the former "Apprentice" contestant who served as an aide to President Donald Trump before being fired last December — says she was "haunted" by the commander in chief's acerbic tweets during her time in the White House.
Fighting back tears, Omarosa, who's a contestant on CBS' "Celebrity Big Brother," said in a teaser for an episode that airs Thursday: "I was haunted by tweets every single day, like what is he gonna tweet?"
Speaking with fellow "Big Brother'' contestant Ross Matthews, the 44-year-old reality star added she "tried to be that person" who would get the president to behave.
"And then all of the people around him attacked me. It was like, 'keep her away, don't give her access, don't let her talk to him.' Ivanka's there, Jared's there..."
Asked by Matthews who was able to stand up to Trump, Omarosa said: "I don't know. I'm not there. It's not my, it's not my circus, not my monkeys. I'd like to say it's not my problem but I can't say that because, like, it's bad."
"Should we be worried?" Matthews asks, to which Omarosa nods her head.
"Don't say that, because we are worried but I need you to say, 'no it's going to be okay,'" Matthews says.
"It's going to not be okay, it's not. It's so bad," Omarosa responds.
Omarosa rocketed to stardom in 2004 as a contestant on Trump's NBC reality show "The Apprentice," where her cutthroat tactics had her dubbed by cable network E! as reality TV's number one bad girl.
Omarosa's fellow "Big Brother" stars are: Shannon Elizabeth, star of "American Pie," Sugar Ray rocker Mark McGrath, Keshia Knight Pulliam from "The Cosby Show," Brandi Glanville from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," UFC light heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell, former boy-band star James Maslow, "Hairspray" star Marissa Winokur, TV personality Ross Matthews and Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez.
The celebs live in a house together with 94 cameras recording their movements 24 hours a day. One celebrity will be voted out of the house each week with the last remaining one to win $250,000.
