Rep. Michele Bachmann says a decision on Obamacare should be made by Congress, not the Supreme Court,

The one-time Republican presidential candidate and other congressional Republicans gathered Wednesday outside the U.S. Capitol to repeat their opposition to President Barack Obama's healthcare program, and insist that the issue “should be decided by the legislators, and we need to be the ones to pass the repeal of the bill.”
The Supreme Court next week is scheduled to hear arguments on Obama's healthcare program, which requires all Americans to have health insurance, reported CNSNews.com.
Bachmann told CNSNews.com that it was revealing that the Obama administration wanted the high court to rule on the Affordable Care Act. “We’re legislators,” Bachmann said. “We believe in the voice of the people. That’s why we’re here. This [repeal] is not an issue that should be decided by the court.”
The 2012 election is important, Bachmann said, because “we need a new Senate so that we can fully repeal this bill through the proper channel – through Congress and at the White House and finally have high quality healthcare.”
Iowa Rep. Steve King, who was among the Republican representatives and tea party members at the demonstration, said he hoped a Republican president would sign a bill repealing Obamacare — which he described as an “egregious reach into our freedom” — when sworn in on Jan. 20, 2013, said CNSNews.com. “I want him to sign the repeal right there.”
Texas Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert said the legislation “strips away the rights of those who don’t want to pay for abortions because there are abortions that will be funded.”
