NBC's Today Show has apologized after a producer made a joke out of the sign language interpreter at Nelson Mandela's memorial service who has been accused of
using meaningless signals.
While Today co-hosts Natalie Morales, Willie Geist and Al Roker were discussing the South African scandal, a small video appeared in the corner of the screen showing a producer waving his arms, mocking the man at the memorial service,
Mediaite reported.
The co-hosts immediately objected to the joke.

"Oh no, no, no. Guys, lets not do that," Morales said.
"No, no, no, wrong," Roker added.
At that point, the video was taken down.
Today issued an apology via Twitter shortly after the segment aired.
