NBC News' chief medical editor, Dr. Nancy Snyderman, and the rest of her crew have been released from their 21-day Ebola quarantine,
Mediaite reports.
The website cited an internal memo from NBC News President Deborah Turness announcing that the crew had cleared the 21-day incubation period for the virus.
"They remain healthy and symptom-free, which is a great relief to all," Turness' memo read.
Turness also said the group will be taking time off to be with family and friends "to help restore some normalcy to their lives." They are expected to return to work next month.
The crew was under quarantine after their freelance cameraman Ashoka Mukpo tested positive for Ebola Oct. 2 while the crew was working in west Africa. Mukpo was declared
Ebola-free on Tuesday.
The group's voluntary quarantine was made mandatory by the state of New Jersey after Snyderman was spotted in disguise outside a soup restaurant.
