Former first lady Michelle Obama on Wednesday announced the dates and locations for her upcoming book tour that will include large stadium and indoor arena events in 10 cities.
Obama will make stops across the country in November and December to promote her memoir "Becoming." The book tour will feature "intimate and honest conversations" between Obama and moderators that will be announced soon, according to a press release, The Hill reported.
The tour will kick off on the book's release date, Nov. 13, in her hometown of Chicago — and will end in Dallas, Texas on Dec. 17, The Hill reported.
"Over this time that I've been out of the White House, I've had time to think and reflect for the first time in a long time," Obama explains in a Twitter video announcing the tour. "I spent some time really thinking about the people, the stories and the experiences that have shaped me and helped me become the person I am today."
She adds: "I am proud of what I've created. I'm proud because it is candid, it's honest, it is totally and utterly me. So, I'm also a little frightened because it is so candid and honest and open."
Other stops on the tour include Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C., the Barclays Center in New York City and the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa., The Hill reported.
