Michael Wolff's book about President Donald Trump's White House will be adapted into a television series, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.
Wolff will be on board as an executive producer for the series based on his book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Endeavor Content bought both film and TV rights to the book in a deal worth seven figures, and the company is shopping around the project to TV networks.
Rights to the book have been sold to 32 countries and the book is the worldwide bestseller in any genre, the Hollywood Reporter noted.
A Spanish translation will be released Feb. 28, with versions in Arabic, Albanian, Portuguese, Bulgarian, Japanese, French, German, and other languages are also planned.
The book reports details from inside the Trump administration, but some of its details have been disputed, according to The Washington Post reported. Wolff "has been accused of not just recreating scenes in his books and columns, but of creating them wholesale," said Paul Farhi of the Post.
"Fire and Fury" has drawn criticism from the president and his supporters. Trump called author Wolff "mentally deranged" Saturday.
