Americans could not care less about the Mueller report, the inspector general report, and the Democrats' House impeachment hearings, according to Michael Reagan on Newsmax TV, they just want politicians to actually do something.
"America is really tired of the reports," Reagan, the son of the former president, told "Newsmax Now." "They just want to get on with business. They want to get on with immigration reform. They want to get on with what's going on in healthcare. These are the things they deal with every single day."
Reagan rebuked the endless back and forth in the congressional game of gotcha as offsetting "15-yard penalties against both teams and nothing happens."
"Will the House impeach him? Yeah," Reagan said. "Will the Senate convict him? No. And so let's get on with an election."
Reagan did agree with President Donald Trump's claim Monday that Democrats are ultimately going to rue the day when one of their presidents are in the White House.
"He's absolutely right in what he said, watch out in the future," Reagan told host John Bachman. "Because this very well, and will, happen again when the shoe is on the other foot, and that's what happens in Washington, D.C. It's tit for tat, just like you said – and we, the people who elect these people, our quid pro quo is, 'we elect you to do a job; do the job!'
"They're not doing the job. They should be the ones all impeached, because they haven't done what we elected them to do."
