Police in Miami uncovered a stash of marijuana and more than $24 million at a home belonging to an alleged drug dealer this week.
According to NBC 6, Miami-Dade Police made the discovery at Luis Hernandez-Gonzalez's home in Miami Lakes Tuesday. The money was stuffed inside several dozen five-gallon buckets, which were hidden in the attic.
Another $180,000 and drugs were found at a gardening business owned by Hernandez-Gonzalez.
Hernandez-Gonzalez was arrested and was held on a bond worth more than $4 million. His sister Salma Hernandez was also arrested and given on a $125,000 bond.
A recent study ranked Miami the worst city in America to live, which was based on factors such as crime, the economy, the school system, health, and housing.
