The daughters of actress Lori Loughlin, who was among dozens of wealthy parents facing federal charges in a college admissions cheating scandal, broke their social media silence to wish her a happy birthday, CNN reported.
Isabella Giannulli posted a photo with her mother on her official Instagram account Sunday with a caption reading, "Happy birthday mama. I love you."
Her sister Olivia Jade wrote in the comments of the post, "My people" with a heart emoji.
Olivia posted her own Instagram birthday wishes Monday, along with a picture of her mother holding her when she was a baby.
Loughlin's 55th birthday was Sunday, and she has been keeping a low profile ever since prosecutors alleged she and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli paid $500,000 to a fake charity to get their daughters into the University of Southern California by falsely designating them as crew team recruits.
The couple have pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering, which are each punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
Loughlin was written out of the Hallmark Channel series "When Calls the Heart," but some of her former co-stars also sent public birthday wishes to her, CNN reported.
On her birthday, Loughlin and her husband were spotted on their way to church services in Beverly Hills, where a source told People that “This is the church they have been coming to for years. They are getting support at the church. They were approached by other churchgoers and people seem genuinely supportive."
Following the service, Loughlin had a "small celebration" for her birthday with her daughters and a few friends, according to the source.
