Amid the many protests around the country Wednesday night, one Hispanic protester marching in Los Angeles told CNN that where "will be casualties on both sides" and that "people have to die to make a change in this world."
The woman carried a sign that read, "Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about the things that matter."
"If we don't fight, who's going to fight for us?" the woman told CNN. "People had to die for the freedom where we're at today. We can't just do rallies, we have to fight back. There will be casualties on both sides.
"There will be because people have to die to make a change in this world. Trump, enough of your racism. Stop splitting families. Don't split my family."
The LA protest was one of 25 that took place in cities that saw tens of thousands of protesters take to the streets, shouting anti-Trump slogans and setting fire to an effigy of President-Elect Donald Trump, CNN reported.
In New York, 15 people were arrested for disorderly conduct at Trump Tower, CNN reported.
