Kathy Griffin is ready to mix it up with President Donald Trump again nearly a year after her career took a dive after she posed with what resembled the commander in chief's bloody, decapitated head.
The flame-haired comic — responding to a Daily Mail report that Trump would attend this year's White House Correspondents' Association dinner — tweeted:
But after the Mail reported that press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Trump would show up, Sanders put out a new statement that "no decision has been made" yet on the April 28 event.
The annual gala attended by political reporters based in Washington, D.C. usually features a cameo appearance by the sitting president who ends up getting roasted. But Trump did not attend in his first year as commander in chief.
Griffin — whose twisted gag lost her several comedy gigs as well as her New Year's Eve co-hosting gig with Anderson Cooper on CNN — initially apologized. But she later took it back, insisting, "the whole outrage was B.S."
