Former Vice President Joe Biden has launched a daily news podcast and will deliver news briefings via several online platforms, CNN reported Monday.
"It isn't just a collection of stories I've enjoyed, it's part of a much bigger conversation," the former Delaware senator said during an episode on “Biden’s Briefing.”
"The world is changing quickly, and now more than ever we need to broaden our perspective and be better informed."
Ground Control, an audio startup company, is producing the podcast and Biden, 74, will be curating the stories from several content partners, including BuzzFeed, MSNBC, Bloomberg, Politico, Vice and Slate. His podcast is available on iTunes, Spotify, TuneIn, Amazon's Alexa and Google Assistant and will be available weekdays.
The stories he chooses will consist of “news across the nation that's sparking conversation” and the program will be 3 to 15 minutes long, according to CNN.
"These briefings include a range of thoughts and opinions, some of which I agree with and some I don't, but all of which I think are important to spend some time thinking about," Biden added.
