In interviews with more than 600 former classmates at the University of Pennsylvania, first daughter Ivanka Trump was described hard-working and ambitious but removed from the social scene, according a profile in The Daily Pennsylvanian.
Ivanka graduated from Penn's Wharton School of Business in 2004, having earned a reported 4.0 and a reputation as someone who was intentional about doing what needed to be done.
"I think she was destined for success," one '04 graduate told the Daily Pennsylvanian. "You got that sense from her that she knew what she needed to do, she had a very clear vision of what she wanted to be and she was at Wharton to get a good education."
Other descriptions of Ivanka during her time at Penn, according to the Daily Pennsylvanian profile:
- "Well prepared, poised; a little removed from the typical bar scene."
- "She always handled herself with a lot of class and dignity."
- "Exceptionally good in real estate classes."
- "Didn't seem all that super intelligent."
- "She was always ambitious."
It was all business for Ivanka.
"I don't think she had a whole lot of activities at school," another peer told the Daily Pennsylvanian. "She came to the school, and did her part, and left."
Ivanka opted not to have her photo taking for the 2004 yearbook, the Daily Pennsylvanian reported.
