Several bars and restaurants in Washington, D.C. will offer government shutdown-themed drinks and specials if Congress is unable to keep the government open Friday night.
The Hill pulled together a list of several places that will have creatively named drinks and specials for government workers.
Capitol Lounge on Capitol Hill, for example, released a list of drinks that will be available at 12:01 a.m Saturday — one minute after the deadline to keep the government open.
Carmine's, another D.C. establishment, will sell a drink called the "Hard Times Cocktail," a $12 beverage made with Campari, bourbon, orange juice, and thyme-infused simple syrup.
Other places will offer special pricing on food and drinks for government workers.
During the 16-day government shutdown of 2013, similar specials were offered across the nation's capital.
