Google workers are getting a mental health day.
In an email to full-time workers Thursday night, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai detailed the slow reopening of the company’s offices — and addressed employee burnout, telling companywide workers to take a day off in late May, CNBC reported.
Google on Friday also announced it’ll display a public service announcement with tips on dealing with stress whenever people search for information about coping with the coronavirus. That PSA will also be highlighted on Google’s homepage Saturday, The Hill reported.
The company, which owns YouTube, will also be making videos on mindfulness and wellbeing more widely available.
