Glenn Campbell's widow has filed a $500,000 claim against the estate of her late husband to cover the medical costs and other expenses incurred during his battle with Alzheimer's disease.
The filing is seeking reimbursement of $506,380, which was used to pay for the Hall of Fame country singer's assisted living care, legal fees and various other costs, The Tennessean reported.
Campbell died last year at 81 after battling Alzheimer's disease for several years, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Since then there have been ongoing issues surrounding the country star's will and estate and this comes as the latest in a series of legal battles.
A copy of the filing, which was viewed by Rolling Stone magazine, lists more than $127,000 for "medical and caregiver expenses."
An additional $68,000 is included in the claim for the erection of a security fence and gate, while a claim for $175,000 in legal costs and fees and almost $134,000 in assisted living charges are also listed.
Kimberly Campbell is also requesting $14,246 for an insurance payment that was meant to have been paid to a family trust but was instead put into her husband's estate.
The insurance claim stems from their California property, now up for sale for a little under $1 million, which suffered extensive water damage caused by plumbing defects, Wide Open Country noted.
Glen Campbell's children have also been locked in a legal battle after challenging the will, according to Wide Open Country.
The musician has eight children from four marriages, but in 2006, when he wrote his will, he excluded three children from his second marriage, who have since challenged this.
