Gingrich Super PAC Predicts End of America With Obama Re-election

By    |   Thursday, 25 October 2012 01:55 PM EDT

Winning Our Future, the Newt Gingrich-associated Super PAC, posted a new three-minute ad Thursday warning voters of the end times America will face should President Barack Obama be re-elected.

“The Decline” is a montage of images, some from the news and others produced for the commercial, that show what the group portrays as where the country is headed if Mitt Romney doesn’t win the Nov. 6 presidential election.

Posing the question, “What would another four years under Obama look like,” the video flashes a series of images depicting chaos, food and gas shortages, stock market calamity, a “war on Christianity” and anti-American riots around the world — with destruction of buildings that include U.S. embassies.

The video references, both in imagery and in the comments under the video on YouTube, other documentaries that have been released in the last two years to counter the Obama administration.

“Take a glimpse into the darkness of Obama's America in 2016,” the group writes on YouTube. “High unemployment. Record high gas prices. The Middle East in chaos. Religion on the run. Record debt levels. America downsized. America downgraded. It's Obama's plan. No American can afford to sit this election out.”

Winning Our Future was founded last December to support Gingrich’s primary run at the Republican nomination for president, but had not updated its website until the end of September when it announced its return via Twitter.

The group strongly supported Gingrich’s efforts to win the primary with a series of strongly-worded ads advocating the former Congressman for president over Romney, including a 27-minute-long film dedicated to the governor’s time running Bain Capital.

“The Decline” is the first video posted to YouTube by the group in about eight months, and its first action since Gingrich suspended his campaign in early May of this year.

According to its Twitter blog, the group plans to launch a mobile phone app to collect reports of voter fraud “to offer us all a method to capture the bad guys.”

“There are two very different and distinct visions of what has made America great — what she stands for — and where she should go in the future,” the group writes on its website. “The elections of 2012 will determine which vision of America will be followed. If we as a nation make the wrong decision — America as founded is over. We will lose our future and the futures of our children and grandchildren.”
