Florida Gov. Rick Scott demanded Monday the FBI make public all details on the Parkland, Florida, and explain why it failed to pursue tips about alleged gunman Nikolas Cruz, according to multiple reports.

"Last week, our state and nation was shocked to learn of the FBI's inexcusable inaction after receiving a tip informing them of Cruz's desire to carry out a school shooting," Scott said in a statement.

"The FBI's failure to initiate an investigation raises many questions, and the victims' families deserve answers now."

The FBI reportedly received a tip about Cruz on Jan. 5 about Cruz's "erratic behavior" and "desire to kill people."

It also reportedly received a tip from a YouTube user about a comment on his page from "nikolas cruz." The comment read: "Im going to be a professional school shooter."

Scott last week called for FBI Director Christopher Wray to resign in the wake of the director's admission some bureau "protocols were not followed" after getting the January tip.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has ordered an internal review of FBI and Justice Department protocols for handling information from the public.

President Donald Trump has also lashed out at the FBI for not doing more to possibly prevent the shooting.
